Dear Friend of the Rhode Island SPCA,
2020 marks our 150th anniversary year. While it was not quite as celebratory as envisioned, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are here today because of our ability to adapt to decades of change and because of the unwavering commitment from supporters such as you.
So as history has shown, we are once again adapting to meet the current needs of the pets and people of Rhode Island and doing it with the same passion and dedication that has made us the longest standing animal welfare organization in the state.
While we are a private, non-profit organization, we also provide an invaluable service to the State of Rhode Island through the services of our Division of Law Enforcement. In 2020 we have conducted 52 animal cruelty investigations so far. We would not be able to provide this service along with offering a number of other essential programs in animal welfare, without the support and generosity of the community and our donors.
As we look toward 2021, we hope that you will continue to support our mission of “speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves” and give as generously as possible today.
Best wishes from the Board of Directors, Staff and Volunteers at the Rhode Island SPCA
