Why Raise Money for the Rhode Island SPCA?
The money raised at the Walk goes directly toward helping our animals by providing food, shelter, veterinary care, and a chance for a new home. This community event is anticipated by pet lovers throughout the state. You won’t want to miss it! We invite you to get involved by collecting pledges for the walk, starting a fundraising team of walkers, and bringing your dogs for an excellent day in the park. It is all for a good cause and the animals thank you for your support!
Start collecting pledges!
There is no minimum amount walkers must raise. The more money participants raise at this pledge style fundraiser, the more prizes they earn. Ask friends, family, co-workers, and everyone you know. Pre-register and create your own fundraising page today! Or, download a pledge form to collect donations in person. Top fundraisers in the individual and team categories receive additional prizes.

Create a fundraising team!
Raising money for the homeless animals at the Rhode Island SPCA is even more fun with a team! Start a team of walkers with friends, family, co-workers, or any other animal lovers you know. All funds raised by team members go toward your team goal. Great prizes for the top fundraising team.
Sponsor the Walk
Their are many great ways for companies to get involved! Become a sponsor, or participate as a vendor. You can also encourage a team of walkers from your organization to raise money for the animals at the RISPCA! It is a great way to show your support for our community and reach a new audience!
Faces of the “Paws in the Park” Walk
This year’s “faces” of the “Paws in the Park” are Lilly and her “sister” Lousia. They were perfect doggy models at their photo shoot and will be leading the pack at this year’s walk!
Lilly is 13 1/2, she’s a yellow lab/husky mix and we adopted her from RISPCA in 2006. People are surprised that her left eye is blue! Lilly enjoys going on walks and visiting with family. She spends her days lounging around the house and barking at anyone who goes by. Lilly has vacationed at the beach and she’s even chased the ocean waves. She’s such a sweet dog and she’s the reason there are now 5 dogs in our family.
Louisa is 3 years old and she’s a Catahoula leopard mix. Louisa is the newest member of our family; we adopted her earlier this year. She loves to play and tennis balls are her favorite! Louisa is quite the lady and she can often be found with her front paws crossed. She’s Lilly’s 2nd in command of the Neighborhood Watch and is always ready to play! Louisa’s left eye is blue too, just confirming The “L” Team is the perfect match.
