Animal Cruelty can take on many forms, but at its most basic, it is:

  • Deprivation of adequate food, water, shelter, veterinary care and overall living conditions.
  • The animal is subjected to unnecessary torture, suffering or cruelty of any kind.
  • The malicious injury, poisoning or killing of an animal.
  • Animal abandonment.
