Are you looking to impact the life of a dog who really needs a second chance at life? Meet Cash.
He is one of those dogs who totally captures your heart the moment you meet. He just has that special something that makes you want to slow down and learn what he’s about.
Cash arrived in April when his homeless owner decided that the best thing he could do for him was find him a permanent home. They had been living on the streets in a tent and daily life was a struggle and very unpredictable.
When Cash first arrived, he was terrified. Everything was new to him and everything was a little bit scary. Over the months, through slow interactions and lots of positive reinforcement and treats, Cash is learning that people and life can be amazing and not something to be afraid of. He is doing so much better every day thanks to our patient, caring staff.
Cash loves to learn which makes it so easy to find ways to build his confidence. One of the things he really enjoys is the agility course. It’s such a positive way for him to conquer and succeed! He absolutely beams when he learns something new and we’re so proud of how far he has come.
Cash is friendly with all but we believe an adult home without other pets is the best place for him so he and his new person can continue to grow together at their own pace.
New situations may always be a bit of a struggle with Cash but with love and gentle guidance we just know he is going to make someone very happy. And visa versa – this guy has a lifetime of love to give. Maybe that someone is you?
If you are interested in adopting Cash, please fill out an application or email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions. Please note that Cash will need multiple slow interactions and meet and greets.
