The Rhode Island SPCA offers a variety of programs and services dedicated to protecting the rights and welfare of all animals. Along with operating a full shelter that is home to over 100 cats, dogs and other domestic animals each day and investigating and prosecuting cases of animal cruelty, community outreach is also a part of our mission.
The Rhode Island SPCA offers medical attention for the pets of many impoverished, disabled and elderly individuals who otherwise could not afford to care for them through the Marvin Fund. We provide Humane Education programs for local schools, youth and adult groups free of charge. We also offer a variety of canine training classes and other pet services.
